Driving Digital Health Messaging Across Pakistan Meet Nadir Qureshi

Who is Nadir Qureshi?

I am Nadir Qureshi, and by the grace of Allah Almighty, I’ve recently taken on a profound responsibility as the Digital Head at the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination.

Working alongside Federal Health Minister Syed Mustafa Kamal is not just a professional role it is a continuation of a journey that began over a decade ago. For the past 10 years, I have been closely associated with Mr. Mustafa Kamal, observing and supporting his tireless commitment to public service.

Every campaign, every action under his leadership has always stemmed from a sincere intention: serving the people of Pakistan.

Now that Syed Mustafa Kamal serves as Federal Health Minister, the responsibility has multiplied — because the impact now reaches millions across the nation. Our core mission is to:

• Digitally connect the public with the Ministry

• Ensure every initiative, policy, and message is effectively communicated

• Empower citizens with health awareness through reels, videos, infographics, and digital campaigns

One of our first major successes was the inauguration of the DRAP Digital Licensing & Registration System, hosted by the Ministry of Health in collaboration with DRAP. The Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mian Shahbaz Sharif, was the chief guest at this groundbreaking event.

Under my digital leadership, the campaign achieved:

• Extensive social media coverage

• Dedicated digital publications

• A Twitter/X trend: #MustafaKamalDelivers that remained in top trends for 16 consecutive hours, reaching over 6.1 million users

This was just the beginning.

I believe that a revolution in Pakistan’s healthcare system can only happen when the government speaks in the language the public understands — digital, fast, visual, and personal.

We aim to use digital platforms to:

• Spread preventive awareness about Hepatitis, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, TB, Polio, Population Control, and more

• Bridge the gap between citizens and the ministry

• Build a responsive and transparent communication channel that connects public health needs with real-time government action

As long as I hold this position — and beyond — I, along with my team, will continue striving to create meaningful impact. From awareness campaigns to health tech innovation, we’re working to build a healthcare communication revolution.

This is not just digital work — this is digital service.
